Description
Vallegrande is a multicultural town southwest of Santa Cruz, where Spaniards, Quechua and Chane-Chiriguanos people mixed. This resulted in a unique and rich culture that combines a variety of designs.
Traditionally, Vallegrande’s handicraft production included a variety of sheep wool weavings. But the women of the Vallegrande Association have diversified their techniques and now also make objects of corn husk and zunca palm.
