Shiram Art was created to support and promote the indigenous art from the Amazon and other rainforests. These artistic traditions have been passed on through countless generations and have rarely – if ever – been seen in Europe.
Through our online store, we support this artisanal trade, helping rainforest communities survive, and directly contribute to the rainforest preservation.

About Shiram Art
“Shiram” in the Amazonian Achuar language means “beautiful”. These indigenous art objects are high quality beautiful pieces that are handmade.
Each product is unique and tells a different story shared by each individual artisan. These stories are often reflections of their traditional cultures and portray daily lives in their communities. They are often fable-like visions inspired by dreams and folk tales.
In many cases, these traditional cultures are slowly disappearing through external influences, but art helps these communities restore and preserve their cultural identity and history.
