Description
Urubichá is a small village in the middle of the rainforest and is home to Guarayo people. It is a place of many crafts, including the production of musical instruments, acrylic painting on wood and fabric, and hammocks.
Guarayo people paint from imagination, but they use special designs that have been elaborated through many generations and are based on Guarayo cosmovision, often found in folk tales and myths. Their paintings tell the history of their people, often mingling fables with modern way of life.
